"I'm all about simplifying . . . and laundry for a family of five? Not so simple . . . until I let each of my children choose a hanging pail for their laundry.
My daughter chose the Fairy Tale Lattice wetbag, perhaps for the name, perhaps because of the gorgeous colors. All I can say is that this was the best idea I ever had!
Each child puts their dirty clothes in the wet bag. When it is full, they bring it to me, I help them sort it, and they wash their own clothes. They move them to the dryer and even fold them when the time comes.
They are now responsible for their own laundry. I feel like I am teaching them something valuable, saving time, and, of course, adding more gorgeous fabric in my life! That's being a goodmama!" -Jessica |
